Job Description

Salary: $83,000 - 123,000 per year Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the utility or construction sector.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Possession of a valid CDL is highly preferred.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Prioritize safety in all operations and tasks.
• Operate a boom truck safely, climb poles when necessary, and utilize standard tools proficiently.
• Inspire and lead the crew to adhere to OSHA, customer, and ElectriComs safety standards and project objectives.
• Follow directions from supervisors diligently.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, clients, and homeowners.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair overhead fiber optic lines.
• Read and understand engineering plans and specifications accurately.
• Comprehend separation and clearance regulations.
• Install poles and position wires and cables as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work activities.
• Access installation and construction sites using bucket trucks, ladders, crawl spaces, ceilings, tunnels, and trenches as required.
• Work at heights, using ladders, aerial devices or gaffing techniques.
• Climb multiple telephone poles daily, approximately 20 feet high.
• Lift or pull up to 100 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Endure prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
• Bend, twist, squat, and reach overhead consistently during tasks.
• Use both hands continuously to operate tools and perform job duties.
• Work full-time outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Complete required training sessions (LMS, OSHA-10 hour, etc.).
• Conduct roadside traffic control as needed.
