As Assistant Store Manager, you will help lead our front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth daily operations, adherence to company standards, and a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting and enjoys developing and motivating a team.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members to maintain the highest service standards
• Manage and maintain inventory systems and procedures
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback and support
• Create and manage front-of-house staff schedules
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Coordinate operational and product needs with the commissary team
• Address employee performance and disciplinary matters professionally and effectively
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, staff, and management
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment
• Support daily operations and help drive sales, efficiency, and profitability
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality and customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a restaurant, café, coffee shop, or similar hospitality environment
• Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Warm, professional, and outgoing personality with a positive attitude
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS/inventory management systems
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• NYC Food Protection Certificate
• Strong sense of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail
