ABOUT LITTLE SAINT

Located in the heart of historic downtown Healdsburg, Little Saint is a vibrant meeting place where guests are invited to connect over food, music, art and conversation. Inside our 10,000-square-foot space, Little Saint offers up a full-service farm-forward restaurant, cafe and wine shop with a focus on plant-based cuisine. The building is home to exciting live music and thought-provoking conversations, as well as a series of film screenings and performances to benefit local artists and our farming community.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are searching for a skilled and engaging Barista passionate about coffee, food and beverage. Under the direction of the Coffee Bar Manager, the Barista will engage with customers, take orders, answer questions, accept payments, and prepare and serve food and drinks. The Barista will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace, update signage as needed, and strive to expand their knowledge of food and beverage preparation, quality and presentation on an ongoing basis. The successful Barista will be committed to providing customers with warm, quality service and creating a positive, friendly and knowledgeable environment for the team.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in coffee, food and beverage preparation and/or customer service preferred
• Prior experience as a barista preferred
• Eagerness to learn about food and beverage preparation on an ongoing basis
• Ability to engage well with guests
• Commitment to excellence, quality and sincere hospitality
• Passion for creating positive guest experiences
• Ability to provide warm, genuine, and knowledgeable service
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Neat and well-groomed appearance
• Desire to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment
