ALOHA! We are part of  Off Leash K9 Training , one of the fastest-growing dog training companies in the country, expanding across Hawaiʻi.

This is an opportunity for individuals who are self-motivated, disciplined, and interested in developing their skills working with both dogs and their owners.


About the Opportunity

Independent contractors manage their own schedule and day-to-day operations while delivering services within our training framework and brand standards.  

This opportunity combines:

  • Dog training
  • In-home boarding and caretaking
  • Client communication
  • Self-managed scheduling

What Contractors Typically Handle

  • Training dogs in real-world environments
  • Providing safe, structured in-home care for dogs during training stays (Up to 21 days)
  • Daily caretaking including feeding, supervision, kennel cleanliness, and overall well-being
  • Working with a range of behaviors, including reactivity, aggression, and anxiety
  • Coaching owners on proper handling, structure, and communication
  • Managing their own calendar, appointments, and client interactions
  • Creating training content (photos/videos) to document progress

Basic Qualifications

  • Reside in Hawaiʻi
  • Ability to safely board and care for 1–2 dogs in your home
  • Reliable transportation that can accommodate a crate/kennel
  • Valid Hawaiʻi driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Successful completion of training and certification within company standards
