Top Requirements:
Ability to interpret & apply electrical schematics: proficiency reading, understanding, and using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and panel layouts to troubleshoot, repair, modify, and install complex electrical and control systems.
Advanced PLC experience: Strong hands‑on experience troubleshooting, programming, and modifying PLCs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens), including I/O, HMIs, sensors, and controls
High‑level electrical troubleshooting skills: Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems up to industrial voltages, including motors, VFDs, control panels, relays, schematics, and power distribution.
Job Description:
We are looking for an extremley skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician for a permanent full-time position located in the Louisville, KY area. It can be expected that this individual performs mechanical and electrical repairs to shop equipment & tools, can use multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical problems, work directly with production personnel to repair equipment, & read/understand electrical schematics and symbols and modify graphic drawings. Daily functions include completing work orders and preventative maintenance forms, daily walk throughs, repairing emergency problems, and troubleshooting industrial equipment. It can also be expected that this individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, & troubleshooting automated equipment and control systems. It can be expected that this technician will program and calibrate PLCs, sensors, and robotic systems to ensure efficient and safe operation. They will also monitor system performance and provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for automation-related failures.
