Electrical Technician-$22-25/hr First Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team, where you will play a vital role in assembling and wiring electrical panels and enclosures. You will work in a collaborative environment interpreting mechanical drawings and ensuring high-quality assembly standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, BOMs, fabrication prints, and layout drawings.
  • Assemble enclosures according to provided instructions.
  • Dimensionally lay out back panels and externally mounted devices.
  • Mount devices to back panels and enclosures using various methods, including drilling and tapping steel.
  • Fit and align doors, latches, hinges, handles, and mechanical hardware.
  • Operate computerized terminals, wire labeling, and engraving equipment.
  • Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.
  • Route and bundle wires and cables neatly, adhering to established electrical standards.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Electrical Technician or Electrical Assembly.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong skills in electrical assembly and wiring.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and installation.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and wiring diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in panel wiring and electrical wiring is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with electronics and electrical assembly processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
