HR Specialist

The HR Specialist is responsible for providing employees, former employees, managers, and HR partners with accurate guidance on workforce management, benefits, payroll, and related HR processes.

HR Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm )

• Provides cross?functional support by assessing and resolving employee inquiries, documenting cases, and escalating issues through the case management system when needed.
• Drives continuous process improvements, identifies trends in call types or recurring issues, and collaborates with team members to ensure consistent execution of key HR processes.

HR Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in HR or a related field.
• Broad knowledge of HR, payroll, and benefits to support employee inquiries and policy navigation.
• Customer service or call center experience preferred;
• HR Shared Services experience is a plus.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar HRIS platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an empathetic, customer?focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic analytical skills and confidence navigating multiple systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self?motivated with solid problem?solving abilities.
• Spanish?speaking skills preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Comfortable working in a fast?paced, change?heavy environment with frequent interruptions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
