Hybrid Personal Assistant Needed

(Minimum 5 Hours Per Week)

Entrepreneur, Professional Makeup Artist, and Author seeking a Personal Assistant (primarily

virtual with occasional in-person support based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn).

I’m looking for an easygoing yet efficient assistant who can get things done quickly while

paying close attention to detail. The ideal person loves beauty, creativity, and research, and

has a natural eye for aesthetics and branding. A background or interest in marketing,

advertising, and research is a strong plus.

Duties Would Include:

• Develop and execute strategies to promote and increase book sales (online + in-store

opportunities)

• Research and pitch opportunities for book placements (stores, events, platforms),

makeup classes, workshops, and brand collaborations

• Assist with outreach and pitching (emails, proposals, partnerships)
• Research product vendors, labs, and new business opportunities
• Source, restock, and manage makeup products and supplier relationships
• Build and organize content ideas and structure for social media pages (Instagram,
• TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Edit reels using CapCut, Instagram native, or similar tools
• Book and communicate with clients — building lasting relationships
• Assist with planning and scheduling makeup classes and events
• Assist with monthly Saturday makeup masterclass — including prep, setup, teaching

support, and breakdown (approximately 4-5 hours, once a month)

• Source and manage freelancers and branding opportunities
• Set up and improve business systems and workflowsReview and edit documents before they are sent out
• General organizational support to keep operations running smoothly

You’re the Right Fit If You:

• Love beauty, creativity, and the world of entrepreneurship
• Are proactive — you see what needs doing and just do it
• Know your way around Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Can edit reels and have an eye for aesthetic content
• Are organized, reliable, and communicate clearly
• Can work independently and show up on site in Greenpoint, Brooklyn when needed
• Have a background or interest in marketing, advertising, or PR
• Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office is a plus

Schedule Breakdown:

Minimum 5 hours per week — flexible and hybrid

Once a month: Saturday in-person makeup masterclass (approximately 4-5 hours)

Remaining hours split between remote and in-person at Greenpoint Brooklyn studio
