Penn Outdoor Services LLC; 2549 Industry Ln, Norristown, 19403, PA; Phone Number: (855) 807-6583, is looking to fill 25 Landscaper positions from May 4, 2026 to December 7, 2026. This is for temporary, full-time employment.
Duties include:
At the direction of the Landscaper, gather and remove litter; rake, mulch, and compost leaves; clean and maintain flower beds and trim or pick flowers; and provide upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, and other grounds features, including moving furniture as needed. Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs; applying mulch for protection and maintenance; and following landscaping designs to determine proper placement of sod, grass, flowers, or other foliage. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges; water lawns, trees, or plants using sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans; attach wires to newly planted trees to support stakes; and care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, and trimming or edging around beds, walks, or walls. Decorate gardens with stones or plants; using irrigation methods to control water consumption; maintaining irrigation systems, including winterizing and spring start-up; planning or cultivating lawns or gardens; and advising customers on plant selection or plant care. Operate hand and powered tools and equipment such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, axes, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, mowers, tractors, sod cutters, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, and twin-axle vehicles; and may maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, including buildings, greenhouses, fences, and benches. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. Hardscape and installation tasks include installing rock gardens, ponds, decks, drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, fences, planters, or playground equipment; building forms and mixing or pouring cement for garden borders; hauling or spreading topsoil; and spreading straw over seeded soil to prevent erosion. Perform turf maintenance including mowing or edging lawns, caring for natural turf fields by ensuring proper soil composition and drainage, and caring for artificial turf fields by removing turf, replacing pads, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces. May also include shoveling snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spreading salt as needed.
Requirements:
No education required. Must be able to stand and walk for 10 or more hours, push/pull a minimum of 100 lbs, and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Three (3) months experience is required as landscaper or related.
Work hours and days, and anticipated start dates of work:
The Employer will offer at least 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Thursday, with a work schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Workers are needed to begin work on May 4, 2026 through December 7, 2026.
Worksite Locations:
All work will be performed at the primary worksite located at 2549 Industry Lane, Norristown, Pennsylvania 19403. Travel will be required throughout Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia Counties within the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington, PA-NJ-DE-MD Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The Employer will provide transportation to and from the worksite at no cost to the worker.
Wage:
The offered wage is $19.86 per hour, based on experience. Overtime is available for up to 15 hours and will be paid at a rate of $29.79 per hour.
Disclosures:
Single work week will be used to compute wages due. Pay period is weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs for return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first week of work for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker (but not including passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training on the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees, as required by law, to offer work for the hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
