What To Expect
The Operations Lean Manufacturing Program Manager is expected to be a strong hands-on practitioner with a passion for improvement, possess a servant-leader mentality, and must be a good communicator. They will have a successful track record with Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement with strong planning, project management, task management, and process improvement experience. This position will drive the Standard Work Program within the Cell Assembly Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Team. What You'll Do Lead the implementation of Standard Work for Maintenance and OperationsEnsure lean execution drives results for customers and stakeholders, connecting results to the KPIsBring lean expertise to operations and CI leaders, teaching & coaching local teamsLead Kaizen events and other lean projectsConduct lean maturity assessments, & identify opportunities for improvementLead the deployment of lean tools and methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping across Operations, Maintenance and EngineeringBuild a high-performing lean transformation culture, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure alignment with transformation objectivesIntegrate lean principles into the factory’s safety programs, ensuring that all process improvements also enhance workplace safety
What You'll Bring 5 years minimum leading/practicing operational excellence and lean manufacturingExcellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detailExcellent leadership of individuals & collaboration at all levels of the organizationStrong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsDeep experience implementing a lean manufacturing culture, tools, techniques, and organizational roles necessary for a Operational Excellence cultureUnderstanding of project management techniquesBachelor's degree in an engineering/science or related field, or equivalent experienceAbility to present and convey complex ideas to internal and external customers and stakeholdersAbility to work under minimal supervisionLean Black/Green Belt Certification or Equivalent Experience
