Job Title: Powder Coat Technician

Job Description

The Powder Coat Technician will play a crucial role in our fast-paced production environment, managing multiple lines and colors. This position requires a seasoned technician with over five years of experience in powder coating operations and an understanding of proper techniques. Knowledge of running an In-Line Automated powder line and programming equipment is essential. Additionally, experience in training associates is preferred, as this role resembles a production lead position.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate powder coating processes in a fast-paced production environment.
• Handle multiple lines and colors efficiently.
• Run and program In-Line Automated powder lines.
• Train and mentor associates in powder coating techniques.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards in powder coating operations.

Essential Skills

• At least three years of powder coating experience.
• Proficiency in powder coat techniques and operations.
• Ability to use spray guns and manage paint prep.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
