Responsibilities
Job Summary As a Proofreader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and readability of written and electronic communications. You will be responsible for catching errors that others miss, ensuring every document meets high professional standards before reaching the final audience. This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated individual who thrives in a time-sensitive environment and enjoys collaborative review processes.
Responsibilities - Review and correct communications for spelling, syntax, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Compare typeset drafts against original copies to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Check text for style, readability, and strict adherence to specific Copywriting Style Guides.
- Use Adobe and MS Word to accurately annotate documents with necessary revisions.
- Facilitate document reviews between team members using the TFS application.
- Meet rigorous, time-sensitive deliverables in a fast-paced work environment.
Skills & Qualifications - Proficiency in Adobe and MS Word annotation tools.
- strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and punctuation rules.
- Experience working with Copywriting Style Guides.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with TFS or similar collaborative review applications.
