Job Description

The Forehand Agency seeks a Remote Insurance Sales Representative to support account growth and deliver excellent customer experiences while progressing through an accelerated leadership path. This fully remote role blends consultative sales, customer service, and operational account management. The position emphasizes measurable performance, professional development, and rapid advancement for high performers within a small, supportive team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of customer interactions via inbound and outbound channels, applying a consistent customer experience methodology.
  • Listen to customers, diagnose needs, and recommend tailored life and health insurance solutions aligned with customer objectives.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities.
  • Strive for first-call resolution by troubleshooting issues, coordinating follow-up, and escalating when appropriate.
  • Accurately document interactions, opportunities, and outcomes in CRM and contact center systems; maintain account records and workflows.
  • Meet or exceed established performance metrics for sales, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine outreach strategies, messaging, and process improvements.
  • Participate in structured training, coaching, and development activities designed to prepare high performers for leadership roles.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college students, interns, recent graduates, and career changers are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum age of 18 and the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a state life and health insurance license.
  • Dependable, coachable, and motivated by incentive-based compensation.
  • Clear and professional verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable with basic PC tasks and able to learn contact center and CRM software quickly.
  • Able to multitask and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of interactions.
  • Previous experience in telesales, inside sales, customer service, or insurance is beneficial but not required; transferable skills and a strong sales aptitude will be considered.
