• Drive the software development lifecycle by collaborating with functional teams to convert requirements into features
• Create and implement new software programs, documenting the entire software development process
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting system and core software components
• Ensure that code and configurations comply with security, logging, error handling, and performance standards
• Assess new technologies for compatibility with the program/system/eco-system and evaluate their impacts
• Adhere to release management processes and standards, applying version controls as needed
• Assist in interpreting and documenting client requirements
• Focus primarily on business/group applications within BMO while having a broader enterprise perspective
• Utilize sound judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within set parameters
