Salary: $156,000 - 196,000 per year Requirements:
- We require a bachelors degree in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, computer, or a closely related discipline.
- We need foundational knowledge of vehicle systems, interfaces, and common failure modes.
- We look for relevant experience in vehicle systems, validation, integration, or testing.
- We expect hands-on experience testing systems or features on benches and/or in vehicles.

- A masters degree in engineering is preferred, especially in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, systems, or a related field.
- Experience in automotive system integration and validation is a competitive advantage.
- Experience validating safety-related or regulatory-relevant systems is highly desirable.
- Ownership of an ADV plan or validation strategy across multiple programs is a plus.
- Experience with field issue investigations is beneficial.
- Understanding of vehicle architectures, cross-domain interactions, and failure modes is preferred.
- Experience using our validation, requirements, and traceability tools is an asset.
- Experience with test automation or regression testing in HIL, SIL, or virtual environments is preferred.
- Experience conducting structured exploratory testing is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret regulatory and safety requirements and convert them into test plans is desired.
- Working knowledge of automotive networks and diagnostics, including CAN, LIN, DTCs, and logs, is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate risks and readiness are important.
- Experience using Jira, Power BI, and basic AI tools is a plus.
- Experience with lighting and bumper fascia systems is beneficial.
Responsibilities: - We gather stakeholder needs and define the expected behavior of features and systems.
- We translate feature intent and system objectives into validation and integration plans.
- We track how system variants apply across different vehicle programs.
- We verify feature behavior on benches and in vehicles across multiple variants.
- We plan, schedule, and execute system-level and feature-level testing, including environmental, functional, performance, and safety evaluations.
- We perform structured exploratory assessments that go beyond documented requirements.
- We support automation and regression testing efforts.
- We create, update, and maintain test cases.
- We proactively identify validation and integration issues, document them, and drive them to closure.
- We perform initial root-cause analysis when issues arise.
- We lead integration workshops with suppliers and release teams.
- We provide closed-loop feedback to systems, design, and calibration teams.
- We maintain ADV plans, test progress, and traceability to requirements.
- We approve and upload evidence for self-certification and type approval.
- We author validation plans, test reports, Product Validation Letters, and compliance summaries.
- We communicate readiness, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
- We execute defined test procedures and record outcomes in our internal systems.
- We maintain test status, defect logs, and traceability for the assigned scope.
- We participate in vehicle and bench evaluations as well as development trips with coaching.
- We contribute to root-cause investigations and recommend data-driven next steps.
