Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain standard costing and job costing systems
• Prepare and review cost analysis, variance reporting, and margin analysis
• Partner with operations to monitor production costs, labor, and materials
• Assist with month-end close , including inventory and cost-related journal entries
• Evaluate and improve costing processes and internal controls
• Support budgeting and forecasting related to cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Provide insights to leadership on cost efficiencies and profitability
• Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and reconciliation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• 7+ years of accounting experience with a focus on cost accounting
• Background in manufacturing or construction required
• Experience with standard costing, job costing, and inventory
• Strong Excel skills including analysis and pivot tables
• ERP system experience preferred
• Demonstrated career stability and solid employment tenure
