TIMBR – Executive Chef
TIMBR Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Executive Chef to lead and evolve the culinary direction of one of Las Olas’ most ambitious dining and nightlife-driven restaurants.
This is not a corporate clipboard position. We are looking for a chef who understands execution, energy, leadership, and how to build a restaurant people actively want to return to. The right candidate can lead a high-volume service while maintaining standards, organization, culture, and consistency.
TIMBR blends elevated dining, strong atmosphere, craft cocktails, and a late-night energy under one roof. The Executive Chef will play a major role in shaping the next phase of the restaurant alongside ownership and operations leadership.
What We’re Looking ForStrong leadership presence in the kitchen
Experience leading high-volume dinner service
Ability to build systems, structure, and accountability
Strong understanding of food cost, labor management, prep systems, and execution
Passion for developing teams and creating culture
Calm under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to balance creativity with operational practicality
Strong palate and attention to detail
Michelin-level standards and discipline are highly valued
Lead all BOH operations and daily service execution
Build and maintain prep, inventory, and ordering systems
Maintain consistency across all menu items
Develop seasonal dishes, specials, and menu improvements
Control labor and food cost performance
Hire, train, mentor, and develop BOH team members
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health department standards
Work closely with ownership and operations leadership on business strategy and growth
3+ years in a senior kitchen leadership role
Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to lead from the front and hold standards consistently
Weekend and holiday availability required
